Showing data in combo box from a child table

Sir,
I have a couple of texts box in my form. I connected them to adodc1 in order to retrieve data. now i want a combobox to show data from a child table which is not connected to that adodc but have a foreign key. I dont know how to do it as i have a very little knowledge of vb6 and infact i am beginner. THANKS IN ADVANCE> :)
